China will open its borders up and millions of chinese citizens will settle elsewhere in the world and other cultures will move into china. This mass mixture of cultures based on such different fundamental philosophies will (and, indeed, has already begun to) change the world culture. With the intergration into the west of eastern philosophy will come influence of the notions of continuous change, interconnectivity and non-aristotlian thought. We can already see these influences in science, religion, it, art, commerce and politcs.

China's acceptance of hemp as a viable resource will give them the advantage in the changing face of economics. The chinese people will arrive on and populate Mars first.

The enerygy and petro-chemical industries, the pharmaceutical industry and the textile and paper industries will lose control as the logical replacement of the eco-friendly, cheap hemp industry takes over.

This will destabalise the world economy as power shifts. The possibility exists that the existing economic powers (embodied in the WTO) will try in desperation to buy over the hemp and other similar so-called "green" industries.

Notions of privacy will change. Only people who accept their own dishonesty, insecurity and embarassment will have a need for it. Notions of intimacy will change. With the advent of the abilityfor an individual to change sex, the question of the use of marriage and the close-mindedness of family will come to the fore. Humanity will become a driving force.
