September 2007
cauri heads to LA and opens the LA office of Wysiwyg Films in Bevely Hills, California.
cauri begins development of the marketing material to surround the film Tatua. In addition to producing and delivering a season of webisodes to introduce the characters of the film, created by comic book legends Rob Prior and Paul Jenkins, Wysiwyg will handle the digital rollout of the feature film in 2008.

cauri does the first upgrade to the FreeTibet database system. The new system accelerates work as well as well as allows multiple access to the information.
cauri edits a presentation for the major distribution company Entertainment UK which delivers to all the major entertainment outlets in the UK including Virgin Megastores, HMV, Woolworth's, Tesco and others.
cauri begins work on the design of the website for Cinemedia Entertainment, the award-winning, LA-based film prodction and finance company.

cauri produces and directs an Equity staged play reading of an original one-act play called A Friend of Ronnie's by playwright David Barry. The play reading runs for 2 well-attended nights, warmly received by the audience.
cauri edits a brand montage for ThinkBox!, the London-based TV marketing company.
cauri begins colour correction on the long-awaited feature film Dead Eyes, produced by cauri with Wysiwyg.

cauri begins work on designing a database to run the FreeTibet Campaign. FreeTibet, a not-for-profit organisation works actively to free Tibet from it's struggle wiht the Chinese government. cauri has the job of assessing their operations and designing a database system to ease their work by increasing operational efficiency.
cauri gives a talk on the changing face of film distribution at the Southend Film Festival.

cauri edits trailers for Momentum pictures for such titles as CSI, Quentin Tarantino's Grindhouse, teen-pleaser Bratz, french film Scorpion and low-brow comedy Van WIlder 2.
cauri then headed to the 60th annual Cannes Film Festival with Wysiwyg to talk on various panels about digital distribution and negotiate film deals.

cauri teaches a week long post production course at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. The course allowed the students to film a short scene and then edit it, adding music, titles and effects. The students got an overview of the full post production process while learning the intricacies of using Final Cut Pro Studio.

cauri begins a technology consulancy for the New Producers Alliance. The non-profit organisation has mandate to prepare new producers, writers and directors for entry to the professional film industry. The NPA runs courses and helps its members meet and indutry people. The NPA's new head David Pope has instituted a programme to deliver a new web service to its members with new features. Also David has instituted a policy to tighten up the functioning of the back end office. cauri has begun consulting on the design of the website and the back end tech infrastructure for the new office.

cauri designs and programmes the new database system running the back end of Wysiwyg's Digital Distribution Network. The system will co-ordinate all aspects of the company.
cauri finishes designing and authoring the Westwood Park - Season One DVD .

cauri heads to Massachusettes, USA to teach a 7 day film course at the Williston Northampton School. Over the 7 days the 10 students concieve of, write, budget, schedule, finance, storyboard, cast, crew, work out logistics, shoot, edit, design marketing graphics, author the dvd and screen the film. The 6 minute film, called 389, examines what happens when a society follows the letter of tradition without understanding the reason behind it.

cauri edits together a series of trailers for the slate of Q2 2007 releases from Momentum pictures including Hannibal Rising, Miss Potter, Hoodwinked, The Illusionist, CSI and Bobby.

cauri does his first lecture at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, to students reading their BA in Digital and Lens Media.

Wysiwyg premiers The Plague in cinemas across the UK. Along with the co-ordination of the event cauri did all the graphic design associated with the launch of the gritty urban drama.

cauri runs another post production class at cauri attends the Bite the Mango Film Festival in Bradford, UK to speak on a panel of distributors. Alongside the 5 day film festival a series of lectures and panel discussions put together by the Yorkshire Film Lab, aloowed filmmakers in Yorkshire learn about diverse topics from conception to production to distribution.

cauri heads to Norway with Wysiwyg to attend the film festival in Hagusund. While there cauri takes part in the the first ever nordic co-production forum set up to stimulate development of film projects between the Nordic countries and the United Kingdom. Also in Norway, cauri with Wysiwyg as one of 5 companies invited presents to the inaugural Seed Forum developed by Peacefulfish. The forum seeks to match investors with film projects to the best interest of all involved.

cauriƒilms in association with Wysiwyg produces the feature film Dead Eyes. The challenge is to conceive, write and shoot an 80 minute feature film in 80 hours. They succeed.

cauri heads to Cannes with Wysiwyg films. While there the Wysiwyg crew win the Cannes 24 hour film challenge with the enigmatic 4-minute short film Towel Talk.

cauri directs and shoots an industrial documentary about the city of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. While there he covers the Red Bull air race.
cauri revamps the Wysiwyg website as the company moves into a new office and prepares 5 independednt films and 1 TV series to go to the Cannes film market.

cauri works on course design, process design and marketing design as one of the founding members of a new film school based in India. The school, scheduled to open in September 2005 will teach the A to Z of dramatic filmmaking using the technique of immersion: live and breath filmmaking.
The Vault launches on 22 February and sells like hot cakes in the USA, Turkey, South America and other territories.
the Movie Maker's Manual gets listed as the 2rd fastest growing book on the wikibooks web.

cauri works with other filmmakers to create the free online book: the Movie Maker's Manual. The manual uses the wikibook engine which allows anybody to edit the pages of the book, meaning that it remains up to date all the time, it gets continually policed for errors/inaccuracies and anyone can read it for free. The MMM helps both professional and beginner filmmakers navigate the industry, giving practical advice, solid facts and useful resources, all placed there by professionals working in the industry.
cauriƒilms finishes editing the two behind the scene features for The Vault DVD releasing February 2005 in Blockbuster and Hollywood Video across the USA. Tritannorthstar's latest release, filmed in Florida and written by cauri jaye.

cauri finishes script for Tritannorthstar Entertainment's film Agents, which begins pre-production in the South Caribbean in January 2005.

cauri launches the UK film events calendar on cauri.org. The calendar will allow independant filmmakers like those on the outstanding shooting people organisation to post and view events of interest in a simple easy to see format.

cauri limited moves to London, United Kingdom, and begins pre-pre-production on another short film entitled Gone (working title) written by Linda Robinson. The micro short will shoot in London in August.
cauri films, the film arm of cauri ltd, has also begun intiatives to produce a low budget action feature in the UK in association with Hollywood's Tritannorthstar Entertainment.
cauri films sent out a proposal to raise funds for a cultural feature film production, Dream, based on the folk tales of the Caribbean.

The Tritannorthstar Entertainment film, The Eliminator, associate produced by cauri jaye released in the United States of America on DVD. The film, distributed internationally by Artist View Entertainment and in the USA by MTI Video, released for rental in Blockbuster and Hollwood Video and for sale in such outlet stores as WalMart and CostCo. In addition Amazon.com has an NTSC version listed. |

cauri returned to Trinidad and Tobago as a witness in a legal case, before returning to Europe and relocating to London, England.

cauri films produces its second short film She, co-directed by cauri jaye and, photographer-cinematographer Amir Saeidiani in Paris. The story tells the tale of a being who falls to earth and over one day finds out what it means to "be human" in the modern western world.

cauri jaye signs a deal with Galt Alliance to write an action feature film, Agents. Principal photography for this film will begin in theSouth Caribbean in March 2005.
